INSIDE THE 63-PAGE GUIDE

What it helps
you plan.

Practical answers from choosing your route to getting from the airport to your hotel.

Your route and daily schedule

Five itineraries for 7, 10 or 14 days. Each day has morning, afternoon and evening activities, estimated visit lengths and travel allowances. Couples, Solo, Family and Budget notes help you adapt the pace.

What to book, and in what order

Guidance on flights, hotel nights, timed attraction tickets, trains and restaurants. Compare arrival and departure airports, then organize reservations around your route.

Getting around Italy

FCO, MXP and VCE arrival instructions, airport-to-hotel options, intercity trains, exact station names and local transport. Understand the next transfer before you leave.

Your costs and everyday payments

Budget for flights, hotels, food, trains, attractions and shopping with the included Excel planner. The guide covers cash, cards, currency, tipping and practical ways to manage spending.

Where to stay, eat and explore

Accommodation suggestions by area and a directory of restaurants, cafés, attractions, stations, supermarkets, quieter stops and photo locations. Daily map links help connect the stops.

Preparation and travel problems

Packing and document lists, 90/60/30/14/7/3/1-day and travel-day checklists, eSIM advice, basic Italian phrases and common scams. Keep passport-loss, phone-loss and emergency instructions close.

THE EDITABLE DASHBOARD

Organize your own
bookings and budget.

Start with a guided setup, then use Today to follow the current day, open its map and mark stops complete. Enter real costs, track booking deadlines and keep packing and restaurant choices together.

How to plan a Italy trip and budget for it

A useful Italy trip planner starts with the number of days you really have. The guide gives you 7, 10 and 14 day route options that you can adjust around your own flight dates, interests and pace.

1. Choose the route

Begin with Rome, Florence and Venice, then decide whether Milan or the Amalfi Coast truly fits your available days.

2. Check travel time

Compare intercity rail with the location of your hotels and reserve timed attractions around realistic travel days.

3. Build the budget

Enter real quotes for flights, rooms, transport, meals and activities. Add a cushion for changes and personal spending.

What will your trip cost?

There is no honest fixed price for a Italy trip: season, departure city, trip length, hotel style and exchange rates change the total. Use the included editable budget planner to compare your actual options and track booked costs. The digital planning product itself costs $29.99 USD once; flights, accommodation, transport and tickets are separate.

PRODUCT DETAILS

What exactly do I receive?

One ZIP download with the 63-page guide, HTML dashboard, 9-tab Excel planner, 61-page daily maps and QR pack, emergency/offline pocket card, five city map pages and CSV imports, plus a START-HERE page. No physical item is shipped.

Is this just another PDF guide?

The guide is one part. The dashboard and spreadsheet are editable, so you can organize your own reservations, budget, daily choices and packing. PDF documents are included for reading and offline reference.

Does it book my trip for me?

No. You make your own reservations with the airlines, hotels, rail operators and attractions. The system helps you organize the decisions, understand the sequence and track what you book.

Will it work on my phone?

The dashboard has large touch targets and a mobile layout, including Today. Interactive local HTML support varies: some iPhone/Android file previews do not run it. Use a compatible browser, or customize on a computer and take the PDFs and saved daily notes to your phone. A computer is the easiest first setup for ZIP extraction and Excel.

Can I use Google Sheets and Google My Maps?

You can import the Excel workbook into Google Sheets and the supplied city CSV files into your own Google My Maps account. No hosted Sheets template or pre-published personal My Maps account is included. Check imported formulas and formatting before relying on your totals.

What can I use without internet?

Download the PDFs, save booking confirmations and prepare your emergency/offline card before traveling. The locally opened dashboard can work with its included data where your browser permits it. Live maps, booking websites and online resources need internet. Google Maps walking and transit directions do not work offline. Save the route pages, screenshots and Today’s offline notes before leaving Wi-Fi.

Can I use this for a future trip?

Yes. 2026 identifies the publication/research edition, not an expiry date. Reuse routes, checklists and editable tools with new arrival dates, quotes and bookings. Countdown stages are relative to your trip. Static files do not update themselves; check official rules and provider calendars before each trip.

How current are the prices and schedules?

Version 1.1 was updated October 1, 2026. Entry requirements were last verified October 1, 2026; other venue/operator facts were reviewed September 30, 2026. Costs, durations and transport allowances are planning estimates. Confirm live prices, entry requirements, opening times and seasonal ferry or train schedules before you book.

What changed with EES and ETIAS?

EES has been fully operational since April 10, 2026. It digitally registers eligible non-EU short-stay entries and exits, and it does not require an advance paid application.

ETIAS is a separate travel authorization system. It was not operational and applications were not being collected when checked. The official launch window is the last quarter of 2026, with no confirmed exact start date. Recheck before departure.

Last verified: October 1, 2026. Official EES information · Official ETIAS status.

How do I pay and receive my download?

The price is $29.99 USD, paid once. The purchase button opens Blink’s checkout over this page. After a successful payment, Blink provides access to the ZIP file. If the popup does not load, open the secure checkout directly. Refund terms appear in Blink’s checkout.
